In Gillio's quest to continously improve our services to you, we don't only aim for innovation in our products, but also in our services and infrastructure. After a long preparation, this weekend Gillio is making a very important and major change: we are switching software systems, to be sure we can handle our growth smoothly for the next coming years.

Our accounting and order processing software has been with us since forever, and having faithfully served us it is time to say our goodbyes and step into the 21st century with a much more performant and user-friendly system. We've spent the last months trying it out, running several heavy testings and preparing everything for our major data migration.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?

First of all: our webshop will be offline from Sunday, March 31st, 5PM CEST (be careful, on Sunday we switch from CET to CEST, summertime) to at least Monday, April 1st (no joke!), 5PM CEST. This is if all goes well - if errors occur, it could be a little bit longer. Processing and shiping orders placed on the weekend will start again at the earliest on Wednesday. We appreciate your understanding that in the first week(s), tiny errors or malfunctions may occur while shopping on our site while we work all the bugs out, if any.

Secondly: as of April 1st (again, no joke), the option for combined shipping will no longer exist. You won't be able to add anything to a placed order. 

To compensate this a bit, we will lower our shipping prices (regular shipping) for most of the countries. Please also note that although shipping prices have never been updated (increased) for customers over the last years either, even though they did increase for us!

Thirdly: temporarily, you won't be able to order leather samples, while we work out and implement a new and improved procedure for this. 

Of course, any order placed before we take the website offline will still be processed at the conditions they are right now.
